Shopify retires API versions on a fixed schedule, and a custom app built against an old version will eventually break if nobody's maintaining it. We take on maintenance for existing custom Shopify apps — including ones we didn't originally build — and keep them current.

We start with a review of the code, its hosting and the Shopify API versions it uses, and give you a plain summary: what is at risk, what is urgent, and what can wait. Then we fix the urgent items and set up monitoring so problems surface before customers report them.

How often does a Shopify app need attention? Shopify releases API versions on a regular schedule, so at least a few times a year — more if the store changes often.
